Product Overview

When you order a prefabricated container office from us, the decisions that matter most happen before the factory starts — not after the unit arrives. The office interior: electrical layout, insulation, wall panels, flooring, and AC provision point — is built at our Bangalore or Greater Noida facility before dispatch. Nothing is assembled on site.

What “Prefabricated” Means for a Container Office — The Interior, Not Just the Frame

The container frame is always factory-fabricated — that is the baseline of every unit we supply. What distinguishes a prefabricated container office is that the office fit-out is factory-built too.

Electrical conduit is concealed inside panel cavities — not surface-mounted after delivery. Insulation is bonded to all six faces under controlled conditions. Internal wall panels, vinyl flooring, and lighting are installed, checked, and documented at our facility before the unit is loaded for transport.

A container with a desk dropped inside it is not a prefabricated office. A container in which the electrical system, insulation, and interior panels have been fitted to a confirmed specification before it leaves the factory — that is.

Buyers evaluating lighter cabin-based workspaces for smaller teams should see our portable office cabin range instead.

What Your Team Must Confirm Before Fabrication Starts

Before our factory begins work, five decisions must be locked by your team:

Door count and position. How many access doors, and where on the container face? The factory cuts the container structure to fit each door — position cannot be changed after this cut without a re-fabrication cost.

Window count and positions. How many windows, what size, and on which faces? Same constraint — once cut, the position is fixed.

Electrical layout. Switchboard location, socket positions, AC provision point, and any additional circuits — data points, printer sockets, generator inlet. All wired inside panel cavities at the factory.

Internal partitions. If your unit needs divided spaces — a private office inside a larger room, or a separate storage area — partition anchor points are factory-installed, not site-welded later.

Custom provisions. Network conduit entry point, toilet attachment opening, generator socket. These are order-stage decisions, not site additions.

What requires a confirmed specification at order stage: AC provision point, internal partition walls, additional windows, toilet attachment, network conduit entry, or generator socket. These are not site add-ons — they are fabrication decisions that must be part of your order before work begins.

Changes After Fabrication Starts — What They Cost and How to Avoid Them

Two categories of change carry different consequences once fabrication is underway.

Structural changes — a door moved to a different face, a window added where none was specified — require the factory to cut new openings and close the original, re-fit insulation, and re-panel the affected section. Minimum impact: 3 to 5 working days added to your delivery schedule and a re-fabrication charge. These are entirely avoidable when all five specification decisions are locked before the factory starts.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many decisions need to be confirmed before fabrication starts on a prefabricated container office?

Five: door count and position, window count and positions, electrical layout, internal partition requirement, and custom provisions such as network conduit, generator socket, or toilet attachment. All five are confirmed during order finalisation — typically within 2 to 3 working days of your initial enquiry.

What is included in the standard factory fit-out of a prefabricated container office?

Every unit leaves our factory with 50mm PUF insulation on all six faces, FRP internal wall panels, vinyl flooring, LED lighting, 240V wiring, MCB panel, and one standard door and window configuration. AC provision point, internal partitions, additional windows, toilet attachment, and network conduit entry are custom specifications confirmed at order stage.

How long do I have to request a specification change after placing an order — and what does a change after fabrication starts cost?

Specification changes can be requested within 24 to 48 hours of order confirmation — before the factory begins cutting. After cutting starts, a structural change adds a minimum of 3 to 5 working days and a re-fabrication charge to your delivery schedule. Non-structural changes — interior surface finish, surface-mounted accessories — can be accommodated up to 5 working days before dispatch without penalty.
