Detailed information about Prefabricated Portable Cabin
Prefabricated Portable Cabin — Factory-Built, Quality-Checked, Ready to Deliver
A prefabricated portable cabin arrives at your site already finished. Walls fitted. Floor laid. Electrics in. No site workers needed on your end. What is built in our factory in Bangalore is exactly what gets delivered to you — in 7 to 14 working days.
What “Prefabricated” Actually Means for a Portable Cabin
Most portable cabins are site-assembled. The frame and panels arrive separately. Your team — or a local contractor — puts it together on your premises. The finish quality depends on who is assembling it and what conditions they work in that day.
A prefabricated portable cabin is different. The entire unit — frame, panels, ceiling, floor, door, windows, and electrics — is built inside our factory before it reaches you. You do not receive parts. You receive a finished cabin. One unit. Ready to use within hours of delivery.

The Factory Build Process — Frame to Finished Unit
Here is what happens between your order and delivery.
Frame fabrication. The MS steel base frame and corner columns are cut and welded to your specified dimensions. Every weld is inspected before the next stage begins.
Panel attachment. 40mm insulated sandwich panels are fixed to the frame — walls and roof. Machine-pressed panels produce tight, consistent joints. No on-site cutting.
Interior fit-out. Pre-laminated ceiling boards, vinyl flooring, aluminium-framed windows, and the entry door are installed inside the factory. Electrical conduit, wiring, switches, and light fittings are completed at this stage — not on your site.
Pre-dispatch check. The finished unit is inspected in full before it is loaded onto the delivery vehicle.

What we Checks Before Your Cabin Leaves the Factory
Every prefabricated portable cabin goes through a 5-point check before dispatch:
- Frame alignment — base frame and corner columns checked for level and squareness
- Panel seals — all wall-to-frame and roof-to-wall joints checked for gaps
- Electrical test — wiring, switches, and fittings tested with a live supply inside the factory
- Door and window function — each shutter opened, closed, and locked 3 times; handles and locks confirmed
- Exterior finish — paint coat checked for full coverage; no bare steel or rust spots permitted at dispatch
If anything fails the check, it is fixed before the unit is loaded. You do not manage factory problems on your site. We manage them in ours.

Factory-Built vs Site-Assembled — What Changes for the Buyer
| Factory-built | Site-assembled | |
|---|---|---|
| Consistency | Every unit identical — same dimensions, same finish | Varies by assembly crew and site conditions |
| Timeline | Delivered fully finished in 7–14 days | Parts delivered; on-site assembly adds 1–3 days |
| Finish quality | Controlled factory environment, no weather impact | Open to weather, dust, and variation in workmanship |
A factory-built unit is ready to use the day it arrives. A site-assembled unit is ready only after your team finishes the fit-out on your premises.

FAQs Prefabricated Portable Cabin
Q: What is checked in the factory before a prefabricated portable cabin is dispatched?
Every unit goes through a 5-point pre-dispatch check covering frame alignment, panel seals, a live electrical test, door and window function, and exterior paint finish. Any unit that fails a check is reworked before loading — defects are not sent to site for repair.
Q: How long does it take to manufacture and deliver a prefabricated portable cabin?
Standard sizes take 7 to 10 working days to manufacture and deliver within South India. Custom dimensions or specifications take 10 to 14 working days. If your timeline is under 7 days, call us — in some cases, a completed unit from finished stock is available for immediate dispatch.
Q: Is a factory-built portable cabin more expensive than a site-assembled one?
A prefabricated portable cabin typically costs 8–12% more than a site-assembled unit of the same size. That difference covers the factory fit-out, 5-point QC inspection, and delivery as a complete ready-to-use unit. Most buyers recover it within the first month — no on-site assembly labour to arrange, no rework visits, and no waiting for site conditions to cooperate.
